Looking back at Easter

There are still lots of plastic eggs around – in Australia we were the only family far and wide to decorate bushes like this.
By the way: We still haven’t found the last missing egg in my parents’ garden, but maybe some birds or hedgehogs have…

OsterfeuerHaving a huge Easter fire is a tradition in this area. In nearly every village people gather around the fire, chat and drink some beer or hot spiced wine (depending on the weather). It was quite cold this year, so you have to turn around regularly to be “grilled” evenly.

This beetle looks like an Easter egg, at least a little bit. Sunny Sunday before Easter on the historic Burgplatz of Braunschweig, lots of classic cars.
